※ネジとゴムは一切使用しておりませんので、ネジ山は無傷です。
60年代後半に使用されたヴィンテージピックアップを再現したものです。
どうしてもかの有名な「ストラト」サウンドはどのようなものだろう？という興味から購入したものですが、自宅の置き場の関係で手放すのが惜しいものの、出品させていただきました。
以降はあくまでも私見ですが、データ上は低出力・・・と見せかけて、さすがは本家と言わんばかりにハイスペックで驚きました。一押しがダンカン製だけに、なおさら驚いたかもしれません。
クリーントーンとハーフトーンではきれいな鈴鳴りサウンドを表現してくれますし、エフェクターを通せばハイゲインですがテキサススペシャルほど暴れ馬ではなく、うま～くまとめてくれているなぁと感じました。特に高音域が素敵な音色でお気に入りのピックアップとなりました♪
また、ヴィンテージサウンドが売りではあるものの、古き良きアルダーやアッシュ材に乗せるとやはり重厚感のあるサウンドに、現在主流のライトアッシュやバスウッドなんかにも乗せてみましたが、意外と軽いボディの方が良く鳴ってくれているような印象を受けました。音作りの幅も、乗せる材もワイドなピックアップだと思います。
